Who's represented?

I think in the IKEA advert the family and children are represented.

Why are they represented?

Children are represented throughout the advert as the theme of the advert as it is colourful and childish. Also in the advert there are many children and also they have to toy costumes in the advert, and the title of the advert is called 'Playin' With My Friends'.

The family in this advert are also represented by near the end of the advert the camera moves to the mirror to show that the family are not toys, that they are humans and when the camera moves over to the mirror its when the family comes together and sits at the table, and at the end of the advert it has 'Get Everyone Together This Party Season'.

Yummy chocolate bar advert:

Yummy Chocolate Bar!

 What yummy chocolate! Don’t you love chocolate? Because this chocolate is so delicious your taste buds won’t regret it. Trust me you will love the chocolate.

Connotations: The boy is lifting the girl up.

The girl has one leg up and one leg down.

In the background you have other people dancing the same as the girl and boy. 

They are all working in pairs. 

Denotations: there is someone standing at the side watching the dancing. 

The dancers are all doing the same thing.

The two dancers are in pairs. 

They have to point their toes.

The representation is two dancers dancing, and there is people in the background also dancing, there is a person who might be observing the dancing. 

I recommend this show called Dance Academy because it's about students at The National Academy of Dance, it also shows us this character called Tara Webster who tells us her life story about how she got to the academy, how she was the worst dancer in the academy etc. She's had boyfriends recently on the show, Ethan and Christian. 

Dance Academy is a teen-oriented television drama series produced by Werner Film Productions in association with the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and ZDF. Dance Academy characters are: Tara Webster, Kat Karamakov, Ethan Karamakov, Ms. Raine, Sammy Lieberman, Christian Reed, Abigail Armstrong. The people who play the characters are: Xeina Goodwin, Dena Kaplan, Jordan Rodrigues, Tom Green, Tara Morice, Alicia Banit, and Tim Pocock. I recommend this show to anyone because if you want to do ballet then I suggest you watch this show.  

Why did I choose media studies?
Answer: I chose media studies because I found out it was interesting, fun, I found out one of my friends was doing it, I like making film trailers and I like getting to learn new things, and also the grades you can get in media studies.
